I was visiting the adorable blog Full Time In NM this morning and it inspired me to write this post. Her post for today has a little candy heart on it that says :
It got me thinking about first kisses. We've all had them and I'm sure some stories are hilarious and some are earth-shattering romantic. In the spirit of Valentine's Day I thought it would be fun to share "First Kiss" stories. Now, it doesn't have to be your very first kiss ever. It could be your first kiss with your husband or significant other or it could be your very first kiss when you were in kindergarten. Maybe it was a first kiss while playing Spin the Bottle or 7 Minutes in Heaven. Wherever you were, whoever it was, inquiring minds want to know. :)
I will go first. Since it's Valentine's Day, my "First Kiss" tribute is going to be to my loving husband. We met in 2001, just a few days prior to 9-11. We met online. We emailed for a bit. Then we exchanged our first phone call. We met a few weeks later. He was really digging me. I thought he was nice but wasn't sure how I felt. Well, he won me over and he won my heart. By the middle of October I was hooked. He treated me like a princess and was so good to me. Made me laugh and we had a good time together. Our first kiss took place on the back deck at my parents house. I'm sure he had his arms around me. I can't remember what we were talking about. I knew he was nervous and I could not wait for him to plant one on me. I knew it was coming. So, he finally did and the rest, my friend, is history. :)
