You Want to Celebrate Me? But it's not my birthday...

A lot of times as moms we kind of lose our identity. We rarely put our needs first and we live for our families. Let's face it, we organize birthday parties, Superbowl parties, holidays, dinner parties, playdates, etc. We do these things because we love our families and want to make them happy. We definitely don't do it for the recognition (I hope) and that's good because a lot of times we don't get it. That's not to say that our families don't appreciate us but sometimes in the excitement of it all, we get lost in the shuffle.

Well, that's all going to change..........at least over here. Starting Friday, January 23rd, we will launch:

"Today's Modern Mama: A Tribute to A Fabulous Mom"

Every Friday a different mom and her blog will be featured right here at Modern Mama's Fabulous Favorites. This is a special time for her so please stop by her blog and give her some comment love. We all want comments. We all want to know that someone out there is listening to us. Let's show some mamas that they are appreciated!

I've had the opportunity of receiving a fabulous review at my friend, Juicy Jenn's blog about a month or so ago. I have to say, it was really nice to see a post just for me and all about me! I know, that may sound vain but from one mom to another, how many of you can say that it's usually NOT all about us most of the time. It's usally about our husband, our kids, our jobs, our commitments, etc. Well, I want to put YOU, yes you, in the spotlight. I'm looking for mom's who blog and want their blogs to be featured. In your feature post, you'll have the opportunity to gain some extra readers and possibly make some new friends. Featured Blog of the Week

I've only been aware of the "blogosphere" for a short period of time but I'm already hooked. I have found some really fabulous blogs that I find myself drawn to day in and day out. And, when I find something truly fabulous, I want to share it with everyone. I have to admit, I've never been great at keeping a secret. When it's something told to me in confidence, I can keep a tight lip. But, when it's something super fun and exciting and well, juicy, I have to dish. I almost can't help myself. I used to be known as "guess what I heard" in high school. lol Who woulda thought it would work to my advantage in my adult years.

So, with that, Modern Mama's Fabulous Favorites is going to be featuring one fabulous blog each week starting Monday, February 11, because I want to share with you my great blog finds. And since I don't want to keep all the fun to myself, here's where you can help.
