Homemade Heart Shapped Crayons

In the spirit of Valentine's Day this week, I wanted to post this really neat craft I found in the February issue of Parents Magazine.

Heart-Shaped Crayons

Make this cute Valentine's Day craft with your kids.
What You'll Need: Crayons, silicone or non-stick hert shaped mold pan.

To Make: Use crayon scraps or break up full crayons into 1/2" bits. Use a single shade or mix several together - just remember that the wax will melt to form new colors. Fill the mold about 3/4" high with crayon fragments. Bake at 250 degrees F for 10-15 minutes, or until crayons are just melted. Remove and let harden.

Tip: Place pan in freezer for about 10 minutes and the crayons pop out easily.
