My Bloggy Makeover Experience

I'm a woman of change. I don't like things to stay the same for very long. I'm forever changing my hairstyle and color. I like to rearrange furniture. I like to change up my Myspace profile and layout. The same goes for my Cafemom page. So, of course I wanted to change my blog layout.

I'm not the greatest when it comes to computers, but I'm not horrible either. I can do photo editing, digital scrapbooking and a few techy type things but html is definitely not one of them. I can't figure it out. It may as well be written in a foreign language because it's all gibberish to me.

When I started this blog I searched for HOURS looking for the right template. The one I had before was great but I wanted something a little more personal. So, fully accepting that html and coding is not my forte, I went on a treck to find someone who could make me a new page. I searched far and wide on the internet looking for blog designers but I came up sort of empty handed. Maybe I was not using the right keywords, I don't know but I was starting to feel a little hopeless. THEN.......I found it. What did I find, you ask? This.
This is what I found. And I found it while wandering around An Island Review , which, by the way is a fabulous blog. :) I absolutely love the name and the cow. I knew that I had found the right designer. I was so excited! And I was even more excited when I saw that the price was only $20 for a new blogger template. $20! Now, that's what I'm talking about. :)
So, I contacted Heather, Goofy Girl, to create my blog. The header is my doing but she did the rest. And what you see is the end result. I LOVE it! And the whole thing was completed in 2-3 days. Can't beat that.
Oh, and to make things even more unbelieveable, she is a med student and STILL found time to do this. That's pretty amazing. She's still accepting clients through Mid-February so act fast.
