Since my days consist of 2 little people ruling my house and dominating the TV with Dora and Max & Ruby, I rarely get the chance to watch TV anymore. When I do watch it, it's something that I DVR'd and of course the beauty of DVR is you get to fast forward through the commercials. Well, for that reason I was completely unaware that Kelly Ripa is the news spokesperson for Electrolux applicances. I had totally missed that due to all the quick finger remote control work. Not only has Kelly teamed up with Electrolux but they have teamed up with her and her involvement with the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
So, what does that have to do with you? I'm glad you asked. :) There is a neat little game that Kelly and Electrolux have put together called Kelly's Bags. You have until May 18th (this is where the "Oooops, Better Hurry! Sorry!" comes in) to play. Taken directly from the website, here is how it works:
What could be easier...or more fun? Twenty of Kelly Ripa's most stylish handbags have been hidden all over the Internet. Everyday she'll give another clue about the location of one of the bags. Find the hidden bags to build your own personal collection. Then pick the perfect bag to bring to each day's virtual event. Every day you log on and put a bag in play, you are automatically entered to win one of 10 Electrolux premium kitchen appliance suites. Electrolux will join Kelly in supporting the OCRF through a series of online promotions and through a portion of sales on select retail appliances. We plan to raise more than $500,000 over the next two years. Electrolux will make a $1 donation (with a minimum of $40,000 and a maximum of $45,000) to the OCRF (www.ocrf.org) for every eligible person who registers to play.
I don't know about you, but I could definitely use some new appliances. My fridge is missing a shelf, my dishwasher handle is broken and my electric stove makes me nuts!
So, hurry! There's still time!

Stopping in to say Hi from another Mommyfest Mommy!
FrugaL Carol
I found you through the MommyFest. Even though it's over, I'm loving reading all the blogs and meeting new women.
I have a newer washer and dryer. Other than that, my appliances are all old.
