Exciting News

I've been a bad mom blogger! But hopefully you can forgive me once you hear what I've been up to. :)

First I should start off with a little announcement. Many of you that have been with me since the beginning or early on know that I created this blog as a way of keeping me busy while I got my business, The Emilee Grace Company, off the ground. So, if you were there for that then you were probably there when I announced in March that it was FINALLY opened for business.

I truly put my heart and soul into that business. I spent endless hours and quite a bit of money to get it up and running. Unfortunately, it did not take off like I planned. :( We had to shut the website down and now are just trying to figure out a way to get rid of inventory. Anyone want to buy a business? lol Anyhow, I'm a firm believer that God will close doors, windows, etc. if He wants to. There's a lot more to the story but I feel in my heart that God wants me to focus my attention on other things.

That almost brings me to my exciting news. I started digital scrapbooking about a year and a half ago and immediately got hooked. I've always had a thing for graphic design but never really did anything with it. Then last year I was introduced to digi scrappin and have been in love with it ever since. I could put together a decent layout and that was fine. But I wanted to learn how to make all of the digital elements. I searched high and low for tutorials online and came up empty handed. So, I kind of put that little thought out of my head. Not really sure how it popped back in there but this summer I started scrapbooking again and started looking for tutorials again and lo and behold, I found a bunch. So, my little dream was off to a start. About a month or so ago I created my first kit. :) Four or five kits followed and while I'm far from perfect and still have a TON to learn, I'm on my little way. (I just realized I used the word "little" quite a bit in this last paragraph. lol)

Anyhow, I'm so excited I can barely stand it! I have teamed up with Haven Designz and will now be selling my kits in their webstore. Yay! This has been a dream of mine for awhile now and I can't believe that it's actually coming true. Whoa - God is good. :) I get to do what I really enjoy, I don't have a website to maintain and all the stress that goes along with it and I can focus my time and attention on my relationship with God, my husband and my kids.

At Haven Designz you will have the opportunity to purchase my kits. While I do create a majority of my kits for Personal Use, you will be able to purchase Commercial Licenses as well.

Just click my banner to visit my store. Me and the owner are in the process of getting all my kits uploaded so please be sure to check back often. :)

That's great news. It does sound like things are working out for the best for you. I can't blame you for wanting to work with digi scrapbooking. It's so much fun to create those things. :)
